In the last few months, the Better Business Bureau of the Southwest has received complaints against Delta Archery from consumers who have bought their products. The company sells archery supplies through their website, www.deltaarcherycompany.com or through EBay. Consumers report that when they try to return products or contact the company, they never get any type of a response.
A visit to the Delta Archery's website reveals very little about the company. If you add an item to your shopping cart and checkout, you will be directed to a Paypal account for Flashcodist@aol.com or VTroncoso@aol.com. Bureau files show that the company is located 2083 Pioneer Road in Delta, CO. Attempts to call the company at the phone number published on their website, (970) 275-0332, were met by a voicemail message. By checking the URL registration for the company, the BBB of the Southwest found that Flashco, Inc. is the registrant of the website.
You may remember that last month we told you about Flash Distributing. A company located in Montrose, CO that sells prop movie guns and accessories through the Internet and magazine advertisements. The Better Business Bureau of the Southwest has been reporting on Flash Co., Inc. dba Flash Distributing for several years. In the past, Flash Distributing's complaints revolved around the authenticity of the products ordered and paid for by consumers. Upon receiving their orders, many consumers stated that the items were nothing more than "toy guns". However, in recent months consumers claim they have ordered and paid for merchandise that they never receive. When consumers try to contact the company by email or by phone, they get no response. Likewise, the company had not responded to the BBB of the Southwest regarding complaints sent to them since April 2006 until we published an article on our website in February 2007.
Delta Archery appears to be following the same path as Flash Distributing. The company has not responded to any complaints sent to them by the BBB and has an F rating. Consumers should be aware that PayPal protects your financial information for online transactions and may file a dispute with PayPal through their Purchase Protection Program.
